I did not find this info in the git examples file or I did not get what to do.

1 I made some changes to mesh.py. I did not commit the changes.
If I pull I would expect to have back the original file, but i still have the modified mesh.py. How should I get to the original version?

2 I decided then to delete the mesh.py . I tried to pull and checkout but it does not restore the file as svn update. What command I have to use

3 If I commit changes (without pushing) , i am ahead of 1 commit.
how to delete the commit? how to go back to a previous version?
