I understand.

I just wanted to give my suggestion for improvement for GNS. :-)

Because I've invested quite some time in deriving from Squeeze. I
expect deriving from Wheezy will be very similar, which means we can reuse a lot of the work for Parkes. But I also expect it will be different enough to not make it a copy and paste job. With the
end of support for Deltah's base I rather release now with an old but supported base than leave a gap of no support of probably several months while we work on a Wheezy based version. Remember that 3.0 was originally set to be based on Lenny.

Squeeze's support will end in less than a year and we must have a Wheezy-based release before that time. But that will be 4.0 and for now Parkes is the subject of my attention.

With him were several improvements in the package:

* GIMP 2.8.2
* an updated version of the GNOME desktop environment 3.4
* GNU Compiler Collection 4.7.2
* Icedove 10 (an unbranded version of Mozilla Thunderbird)
* Iceweasel 10 (an unbranded version of Mozilla Firefox)
* KDE Plasma Workspaces and KDE Applications 4.8.4
* LibreOffice 3.5.4
* Linux 3.2
* MySQL 5.5.30
* Nagios 3.4.1
* OpenJDK 6b27 and 7u3

Why can not we at gNewSense based on Debian Wheezy stable version of the Debian project ?

So such not to get stale.
