Sorry, you need OpenGL 2.1 support to use Bino. A few graphics cards also work with 1.3 plus a number of extensions, but 2.1 is known to work everywhere.

As a side note, Bino does not use any codec packs so you don't need them. All codecs are included in the statically linked FFmpeg libraries.

Anyone? Anything?

I researched a bit, and my graphic card unfortunately won't get full open GL support under windows 8...

The only thing it supports under windows 8 is openGL 1.1.0.

Now my guess is, that Bino needs a higher version of openGL to function properly?

As a "workaround", is there maybe an older version of the Bino player that only requires openGL 1.1? I couldn't find any older version of the player for windows then the 1.4.0.

Any answer/help/suggestion is greatly appreciated.

I saw that there is already a thread for this problem, but it is closed.

I get this message:

This OpenGL implementation does not support all required functionality

and tried Bino 1.4.0 and 1.4.2

The grafic card is an on board Intel Graphics X4500. Drivers can't be downloaded from intel, but are provided by Microsoft, and a manual update says, that drivers are up to date.

I also installed the latest version of the K-lite codec pack.
