Sorry, commit 3744787ec01660f903228423f2281ef056f15784 does in fact fix the problem.

I built and installed WeeChat from a second shell and then tested it back the first shell. For some reason an older version was still being used. Once I ensured that the right version of WeeChat was being used, the bug no longer occurs.

Please double check that you are using latest git, weechat-curses -h should show: v0.4.1-70-g3744787 (or command /v in WeeChat), if you compiled from the directory with git repository.

For me, the problem is fixed when I used such condition in a bar (and a crash happened before the commit).

The problem with using "${buffer.title}" in a condition still persists even after this commit 3744787ec01660f903228423f2281ef056f15784

When I attempt to run WeeChat under GDB in order to get a full backtrace, the problem does not occur.

Furthermore, when I attempt to use the core dump generated from the original crash, I get a completely different backtrace and a different signal (6, ABORT) causing the termination.

Hi,

I'm unable to reproduce the crash in my weechat.

Can you try to enable debug for weechat compilation (if not already done), and get a full backtrace with gdb (bt full) ?
So that I can see exactly on which line in source code the problem happens, and the value of variables when it crashes.

My apologies.

Changing ${buffer.title} to ${buffer.name} (as I had originally intended but mistyped) in the relevant bar conditions seems to prevent this issue.

However, a crash resulting from this is still unexpected.

I first recieved a SIGSEGV when attempting to /join #hurp. Weechat immediately crashed. Upon trying to restart weechat, I recieve the same problem.

From this I believe that is a problem with the condition of one of my bars. I had previously set new conditions only 30-60 minutes prior, and while they worked at the time, they now appear to be causing severe problems.

I have some of the following conditions:
