Mostly fixed in 1.1-dev. If you share someone else's post, it will be counted as a new item, but posting a new note or image will not.

Yes, known and "kept in mind".

If you've used 0.9-dev you've probably seen how posts can now be marked as read. Your own posts still come as unread when they're new, because the whole pagination system of the timelines needs some changes to "do it right", and until then, it makes little sense to make more temporary hacks for this kind of thing ;)

Expected result: New post is on top of feed, but read, because I just made it

Actual result: New post is on top of feed, unread, in both my feed and my activity.

Could probably fix this by adding it to the local maps for feed and activity, in a "read" state, and then updating.
