Fixed as of version 0.9.2.11.

The problem had nothing to do with collision detection. Instead, it had to do with iteration. Version 0.7.0 created a new list every time an object was destroyed, while by 0.8.0 that had been replaced with a use of list.remove. That caused a problem because the code that executed mouse click events was looping through this list. This and similar potential bugs with other destroy methods was fixed by making them create new copies of the lists and dictionaries rather than simply modifying them.

This is a bug that was introduced at some point between versions 0.7.0 and 0.8.0; I believe it was when the collision detection got updated, but I'm not sure. What happens is, if you click on two circles at once, one of them will sometimes not pop. More specifically, calls to the collides method fail, seemingly randomly.

What's confusing, though, is that the collides method barely changed at all between these releases, and reverting those few changes doesn't fix the problem. Obviously, something external must be affecting the return value of collides, but after hours of investigating and testing, I can't for the life of me tell what it is.

In the latest Git revision, the collides method has been replaced with the new collision method, which is very different. The bug persists.

For now, I'm postponing fixing this bug until another example of it is seen, because I just don't know what exactly is going on.
