My notebook Lenovo t540p has hard drive WDC WD10JPVX-08JC3T5. Sadly hdd not recognized by hddtemp and reported as:

# hddtemp /dev/sda
WARNING: Drive /dev/sda doesn't appear in the database of supported drives
WARNING: But using a common value, it reports something.
WARNING: Note that the temperature shown could be wrong.
WARNING: See --help, --debug and --drivebase options.
WARNING: And don't forget you can add your drive to hddtemp.db
/dev/sda: WDC WD10JPVX-08JC3T5:  41°C or °F

Hddtemp version is 0.3-beta15 from Gentoo portages.

I tried last database from http://www.guzu.net/linux/hddtemp.php but it also skiped my drive.

From the debug output value from the field 194 (41°C on my listings) seems like real temperature of the drive.

I attached output of hddtemp --debug and smartctl below.
