Silly UI glitch but it is confusing/annoying:

If I type in a PLU by hand and then decide to cancel by pressing the escape key, the field does not clear out. It looks as though the action did not cancel, but it did. A subsequent press of escape will show the exit program confirmation dialog, and subsequent typing will overwrite data in the PLU field.

This one isn't likely to rear its ugly head often as most people use barcode scanners, but it is confusing if a mistake was made while typing the code in by hand and escape was pressed to start-over.
