I'm running Xubuntu 14.04, shell is bash v4.3, ffmpeg v2.6.1.

The bug also happens when opening a file from file manager Nemo's context menu (Open with... > Bino).

This must be a problem of your environment, e.g. your shell, or maybe your FFmpeg libraries. Hard to tell without any information on your setup.

It works fine for me.

Example, I run :
bino "~/some existing path/with spaces/my vid.mp4"

Result:
~/some: No such file or directory
