Because we didn't need it... until now ;)

It can be done, but requires a (minor) change of the shader programs.
The most important thing is that we will have to consider different cases, just as for the colors:
- no alpha
- constant alpha
- alpha per node
- alpha per element
- alpha per element per node

Why not alpha and bkalpha transparency?
