some more info's
after automatised 30Days ban of !!! 5000 !!! mldonkey clients within 36 hours instead of 10minute shortban, and restart of the hub, the memoryusage of the hub is much better...
PID USER     PRI  NI  SIZE  RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM   TIME COMMAND
27349 root      15   0  7644 7644  2376 S     0.3  2.3   3:03 dchub
...after 8 hours

PID USER     PRI  NI  SIZE  RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM   TIME COMMAND
20783 root      15   0  157M 139M   980 R     6.8 44.4  56:43 dchub

hub is running average of 100 users no cluster, no scripts, no plugins
most used commands(clientbot): -getip, -showtype, -tbanip(not removed in my version), -kick
...I think around 10times a minute in cause of many mldonkey-connection-trys

$forcesend - via an multihubchat-bot combining the mainchat of 5 hubs with together around 400 users

...sure a lot active and passive searches and connect-queries

any idea ?

can you tell me which "option" you use (plugin, perl script, python script), a brief description of your configuration (like some "duration" keys or if hub registration is enabled). Can you also tell me the command you use (kick/ban/flood) and the number of times you use it (not an exact number, just an average value).
