This will put common.sh into a new working dir.

ppar --wd ... --nonall --basefile /tmp/./common.sh -S parallel@lo 'pwd ; ls '

This will put common.sh into a new working dir and run the first command there:

ppar --wd ...  --basefile /tmp/./common.sh -S parallel@lo 'pwd ; ls . ' ::: a b
