The entire test suite was refactore. Further the UI uses gtk_main(), now.

GSequencer recently crashed with unexpected result.

gsequencer: ../nptl/pthread_mutex_lock.c:349:
__pthread_mutex_lock_full: Assertion `INTERNAL_SYSCALL_ERRNO (e,
__err) != EDEADLK || (kind != PTHREAD_MUTEX_ERRORCHECK_NP && kind !=
PTHREAD_MUTEX_RECURSIVE_NP)' failed.
Aborted

Write a 2 functional test to reproduce the issue. One using the file interface and another one adding machines by emitting events:

Functional Test 1

You have created a GSequencer file using some common machines. Analyze the behavior with valgrind and check for errors. The project uses ALSA backend.

  • Open the file
  • Start playback in loop mode
  • add some notes during playback or delete some

Functional Test 2

You set up the common machines by triggering events of the menubar. Analyze the behavior with valgrind and check for errors. The project uses ALSA backend.

  • Start GSequencer
  • Add some machines providing a functional playback setup
  • Link the machines
  • add some notes during playback or delete some
