Hmm, not sure it's so easy to fix. The window is not intended to be temporary. I'll probably need some testing, but I choosed to not use Wayland, at least for now, because my favorite software does not run correctly when using it.

Wayland is a nightmare. Many things do not work anymore. Anyway this one should be easily fixed. The strnge thing is that both temperature curves use the same code.
The warning is a Gtk+ bug, imho. I'm seeing it with many applications.

Selecting View > Elements charts > Melting temperature causes crash with the following message on console:

Gdk-Message: Window 0x5592dbccf660 is a temporary window without parent, application will not be able to position it on screen.

(gchemtable:3795): Gdk-WARNING **: Error 71 (Protocol error) dispatching to Wayland display.

Selecting the Boiling temperature does not cause crash but gives a warrning:

Gtk-WARNING **: Allocating size to GtkWindow 0x5592dbaf9220 without calling gtk_widget_get_preferred_width/height(). How does the code know the size to allocate?

It's version 0.14.17; viewing that also causes a crash.
