The application never displays, you just get the standard crash dialog:

Die Anwendung »gnome-sound-recorder« (Process-Nr 546) is wegan eines schweren Fehlers abgestürzt: (Abgebrochen)

with an option to send an error report.

It'll be a lot easier to report bugs once Gnoppix networking is working. As it is, I have to shut down Windows, boot Gnoppix, ooops... reboot in English, test it, shut down Gnoppix, reboot Windows... :-(
