Please set option "debug most" in your davfs2.conf file.

After mounting the file system do those file system actions that trigger the error. Try to avoid any unnecessary file operations to keep the log files small.

Search for the messages from mount.davfs in your log files an upload them.

Please include information about the WebDAV-server.

You may as well inspect the log messages yourself to see what file name the kernel sends to davfs2.

Hello,

there might be possible misbehaviour when filename contains "#" character. Simple copy, rename, move etc. works fine, but in graphical UI when double clicked on file system prompts with "Choose a program to open with..." window. It seems that during passing the file to system filename is cut after"#" -> no extension known then. Opening same file with "#" character in filename from local disk works ok. Removing "#" from filename in webdav and adding it can solve and reproduce error. Tested on different GUIS KDE, LXDE, Gnome etc. It might be an error in davfs or possible in other code. I can take care and report it somewhere else but what I want to avoid is "its not mee" ping pong. Many thanks for answer. PS: we use German Telekom webdav.mediencenter.t-online.de with standard settings.
