If I try to use gnoppix as a thin X client (which seems like a fantastic application for this live CD), it appears I cannot.

I believe this is because you have hardwired /etc/hosts.allow to "ALL : ALL@ALL : DENY". Can you loosen hosts.allow to at least allow X traffic incoming? I understand this lowers security a hair, but on the otherhand this is a read only file system.

Great work, this is a slick setup.
