The GSource was replaced and this fixed the memory-leak. Thought, gsequencer start is still slow.

The splash screen does drawing using cairo. I have even rewritten it but it didn't help.

I recognized, that the application does leak-memory even after splash screen.

You could disable splash-screen then you recognize the leak is not that bad anymore.

Hi Yuri,

There seems to be a memory leak during drawing with cairo. Might be not a problem of GSequencer.

Hi Yuri,

Something continues to leak memory and I don't know what it is.

The leaks I have fixed resulted in 8GB memory usage as GSequencer started, but it continues to leak approximately 20 MB per seconds.

Any ideas?

Hi Yuri,

Found some leaked strings in:

  • ags_turtle.c
  • ags_lv2_turtle_parser.c

The problem resides probably in this file:

http://git.savannah.nongnu.org/cgit/gsequencer.git/tree/ags/lib/ags_turtle.c?h=2.2.x

Do you see any suspicious?

Hi Yuri,

By the way are you using the correct libuuid library?

https://sourceforge.net/projects/libuuid/files/

Hi Yuri,

GSequencer is as well on github:

https://github.com/gsequencer/gsequencer

But development happens on savannah. Feel free to report on github.

Do you still experience this behaviour with GSequencer v2.2.x series?

I have reworked the LV2 turtle parser. Prior all LV2 plugins are loaded, but not anymore.
