using Win32::Resolv::get_resolv_info to get resolver information

It works by indicating the IP of the resolver.
We can close the (not-such) bug.

Works for me, but you need to specify an IP address instead
of a hostname. I will see to cleanup toward a more explicit
error message in that case.

If you know a windows guru able to tell us how to
reliably access the current resolver IP addresses...

The variable is already set:
D:\Home\marcos\zonecheck\zc>set | grep ZC
ZC_INSTALL_PATH=D:\Home\marcos\zonecheck
and is used by the program, because otherwise certain libraries don't get found.

The problem persists:
D:\Home\marcos\zonecheck\zc>zc.rb --resolver='denics1.denic.de.' toto.fr.
ERROR: Unknown Error - connect(2)

I installed:
http://rubyinstaller.sourceforge.net/

if you don't install zonecheck (make install),
you should define the environment variable ZC_INSTALL_PATH.
Supposing you are using ruby under cygwin, this will be
export ZC_INSTALL_PATH=/home/marcos/zonecheck

For now as I lack of a good way accessing the ip addresses
of the resolver used by windows
(something similar to the unix /etc/resolver.conf), you
need to specify the resolver to use option --resolver,
so zonecheck should be start as:
zc.rb --resolver='w.x.y.z' toto.fr

Does this fix your problem?
If not which implementation of ruby under windows are you
using?

Windows 2000, Ruby 1.8.0-10, ZoneCheck 2.0.0b8

When I try to run, following happens:
D:\Home\marcos\zonecheck\zc>zc.rb toto.fr
ERROR: Unknown Error - connect(2)
