Fri 17 Oct 2003 02:44:49 AM UTC, original submission:

I get this error when ever i try to boot off the cd,

Kernal Panic Error: Unable to Mount Root FS on 08:01, or something to this degree as i forgot to write it down. I've tried to boot on machines with NTFS partitions, but i don't think that is the issue. One was a new P4-2.8Gig HP Workstation @ my work and the other was 2.0Gig Gateway system. Both have the same exact error. I'm wondering if it's just a bad burn or if it's a problem with NTFS drives being mounted. I'm not a big linux person, sorry.
