The initial summary was "Exception, view attached to other window"

That initial bug appeared after unfolding a "folded-explain" tag in the "documentation" alt-window. Removing the fold tag works around the bug. Implemented in r14115. With that change there is no longer an issue for closing TeXmacs from the menu, yet in the console we get:

>free(): invalid pointer
>Abandon

when texmacs quits.

While working on that issue I have also found that the hlinks tags in that same "documentation" alt-window are not working (They are meant to open the scm source files, and these hlinks work as expected when copy-pasted in a standard window). In r14115 I worked around that by using an action tag in place of the hlink.

I change the summary to reflect that I suspect issues are due to using alt-windows and I keep the bug open.

Bug seen in up-to-date linux and windows builds.

Steps to reproduce:

launch texmacs. In the developer menu open the symbol browser. Select any item in the list (e.g. "add-user") and click "see documentation". In the pop-up window click on the green "Definition..." to see the scheme code.

From that point on, if you ask to close texmacs from the menu, it throws an error:
TeXmacs] failed-error, Exception, view attached to other window
and some debug info is shown on the console (see attached file)

It does not matter if you close the window showing the scheme code and/or the symbol browser before asking to close TeXmacs from the menu: the error will occur in any case, and as many time as you try. On the other hand, if you click the main window's closing button, TeXmacs does close. It seems it's the only way to close it nicely.
