It is not a BUG if a feature is not implemented.
Or is it a BUG that my nissan glxr has no 4x4 ?

Gnoppix does NOT use the same HW detection as Knoppix.

But maybe updated next Release.

It does seem to be a gnoppix-specific bug. Both Knoppix & Morphix detect and support the USB mouse on my machine.

Well now,
This is not a Gnoppix-Specific bug.
But nevertheless it is making me quiet angry as the main Companies are not constructing de-facto standarts.

It would be better to ask your question again in a newsgroup, comp.os.linux.hardware or whatever.

It has to do with the nVidia Chipsets and the USB-OHCI modul.
Try to buy only chipsets supporting USB-UHCI next time, I can't help you there what this could be in detail

:-((

regards,
cyb

Ok... here are some more details on my machine...

It's a nForce2 motherboard (gigabyte ga-7n400). The mouse is a pretty standard usb logitech wheelmouse.

After booting up gnoppix does not detect my USB mouse. Knoppix detects it fine...

Let me know if you need further details.
