Submitter says that this is solved (already implemented). I.e., the available bash completion module is enough.

With an appropriate configuration for bash completion being available now, I guess this feature request has become obsolete.

If you have looked at the darcs utility, you may have noticed that it trivially supports command line completion for all options and everything, because it offers special flags, which print out "what's possible now". Like --show-unknown-files, for example. The shell can use this to complete the file names during "monotone add" etc.

I find that this made working with darcs to be most pleasurable. In particular completion for the (longish) option names would be great.
