Not enough information to investigate. We fixed some build related things in CVS, please test next alpha release and reopen if necessary.

Compile seems to miss -lz, -lm, and location of -lGLU (/usr/X11/lib) for some strange reason. If I explictly include them in the configure line like:

CFLAGS="-lz -lm -L/usr/X11/lib -lGLU" CXXFLAGS="-lz -lm -L/usr/X11/lib -lGLU" ./configure

Then it seems to compile and run okay.
