ok, this bug has been reopened because it happened again on macosx. this time the endless scroll was to the left-up diagonal direction. it happened in windowed mode too, and on a ibook laptop running debian xfree4.3.

Lot of things have been improved in the graphisc backend. Please retest with alpha7 when it gets out and reopen if necessary.

Thanks

Steph

Thanks for reporting a bug. We need the folowing informations:
1- Which version are you running ? You can see at the bottom right of the main screen, or by running "glob2 --version".
2- Will the bug continue if you hit the "up key" ? Try with the "arrow up key" and the "num up key", with and without num lock.
3- Check if you mouse is in the center of the window.
Thanks!

Hum, don't how to reproduce it. It works here. I raise its severity.

Me too! And full-screen mode doesn't work; it immediately switches back to a window when I try it. I'm running the "Linux static" binary of alpha 3 (0.8.2). System is Debian unstable, XFree86 4.3.0, a multi-head system using Xinerama.

When running in the default 640x480 'windowed' mode, in the game screen, the main screen continually scrolls upwards, as if I were holding down the up-cursor key.

If I switch to full-screen, it stops doing this and behaves normally, but resumes when I switch back to the window.

If it helps, I'm on Linux 2.6.2, latest XFree86 from slackware-current, via/s3 Savage driver ("ProSavage/DDR"), SDL 1.2.6.
