Doesn't compile under LFS-5.0 system either. I added #include <cassert> to fix it.

It is unlikely there will be another 0.6.x release. Hopefully the port of Pingus to ClanLib 0.7 will be completed some day in the future :)

This file (directory_scanner_unix.cpp) won't compile out-of-the-box under Fedora Core 1 (gcc-3.3.2 with glibc-2.3.2).

The file needs a single "#include <assert.h>" line inserted up at the top somewhere.

Presumably one of two things has happened:
1) assert.h used to get pulled in by a different header file which doesn't do that any more in Fedora.

or

2) The "interesting" syntax of assert.h broke one of the tests in ./configure resulting in it being ignored and left off the list of "things to be included". There's maybe a related complaint of this nature already mentioned at:

http://lists.debian.org/debian-x/2002/debian-x-200212/msg00016.html

Why am I compiling 0.6.5 in the first place? The "Pingus" game needs it!
