I Have the same problem compiling in FreeBSD 4.9

the bhbase compilation ran flawlessly, but when i try to find where the bhbase is even with the find / -name "bhbase*"
i only obtain the following:

tierra# find / -name "bhbase*"
/home/jorge/banana/bhpos_base-1.2.0/bhbase.pc.in
/home/jorge/banana/bhpos_base-1.2.0/bhbase.spec.in
/home/jorge/banana/bhpos_base-1.2.0/bhbase.spec
/home/jorge/banana/bhpos_base-1.2.0/bhbase.pc
/usr/lib/pkgconfig/bhbase.pc
/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig/bhbase.pc
/usr/local/bhbase
/usr/local/bhbase/lib/pkgconfig/bhbase.pc

I tried sh ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/bhbase

and after this
tried in common libs:

sh ./configure --with-bhbase=/usr/local/bhbase

but it still complains about:

checking for bhbase >= 1.1.0... configure: error: Could not find bhbase anywhere (see config.log for details).

hope you have a clue about this one.

thanks in advance!

Eric De La Cruz Lugo.

my OS is:

Using Linux 2.4.22 i686, Mepis Linux (Debian offshoot).

Using bhpos_base-1.2.0. Installed into /usr/local/bhbase/, using --configure --prefix=/usr/local/bhbase.

Problem:
configuration inside common libs 1.4.4 (Feb 23 release).
during ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/bhcommon/ --with-bhbase=/usr/local/bhbase/

configure exits and complains with the following:

"checking for bhbase >=1.1.0... configure: error: Could not find bhbase anywhere (see config.log for details)."

The same error appeared during installation on Fedora.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Nissu
