Do you have multiple version of g++ ? Do you manage to compile other c++ codes correctly ? As can't reproduce it there and as we have modified the autoconf, I close this bug for now. If it still doesn't work when alpha7 is released, please reopen it but before it try to compile a simple c++ program.

Thanks

Steph

try to set LDFLAGS to "-lstdc++ $LDFLAGS" before running configure:

export LDFLAGS="-lstdc++ $LDFLAGS"
or
setenv LDFLAGS "-lstdc++ $LDFLAGS"

If you find a cleaner way to do it (a test in configure.in for example), please tell us.
