I receive the same though I still get the warning about static declaration for `__d_path' follows non-static. It's odd though, I can insmod dazuko.mod.o but AVG will not run - still looking for dazuko even though it is shown in an lsmod.

So you're telling me that you are not going to directly support Redhat based kernels?

Hi,

The Fedora Core 2 kernel does not support the "capability=0" argument. You will have to recompile a new kernel.

I'm using Fedora Core2 and have this error too.

My Fedora Core 2 have kernel 2.6.6-1.435

I used at boot the parametes as FAQ8

... Note: If Default Capabilities and SELinux have already been built into your kernel, you can disable them at boot with the boot parameters "selinux=0 capability=0" ...

But I have this message in my /var/log/messages
Jun 24 18:41:02 nfsserver kernel: There is already a security framework initialized, register_security failed.
Jun 24 18:41:02 nfsserver kernel: dazuko: failed to register

I pretend to use dazuko in my Storage "4.5TB", I also want to use dazuko with clamav.

Nope, seems to not be it. The invalid parameter message occurs with or without default capabalities configured into dazuko. Output logged in messages follows below. A couple of things to note: First, boot parameters for selinux and capability were both set to 0 as specified in the FAQ. Second, I'm using kernel 2.6.7 currently, becaue Fedora Core stock kernels do not have the capality to set 8k stacks and I still need 8k stacks for the current version of NVidia's drivers.

messages shows:
kernel: There is already a security framework initialized, egister_security failed.
kernel: dazuko: failed to register

The same thing happens with 2.0.3-pre2.

Hi,

Please look for additional error output in /var/log/messages. This is probably FAQ #8.

Dazuko 2.02 compiles just fine with Fedora Core 2. However when I try to run

/sbin/insmod ./dazuko.ko

I get

insmod: error inserting './dazuko.ko': -1 Invalid parameters
