Hi,

I believe I may have found the cause of this problem. Please try version 2.0.5-pre3.

Hi,

I am closing this bug report since I am unable to reproduce the problem and have not had any feedback about it.

Hi,

Are you still having this problem? Is it possible that you could attach your kernel configuration?

Hi,

I am afraid I cannot reproduce this problem. I have tried various FreeBSD versions and all of them work. I am only trying them "out of the box". This means that I install FreeBSD 5 on a blank system, then install Dazuko. Perhaps you have something special configured in your kernel??

2.0.3 was released yesterday. Could you try this version?

./configure
make
make test

Ok, updated source and build new world and kernel, source and kernel+userland are definately in sync now.
The error is still the same.

Hi,

This seems like a source mismatch problem. Are you certain that the kernel source code you have is the same as the running kernel?

Did it work before and only after your latest CVSup it stopped working? Or was this your first try?

Dazuko has been tested on 5.2-RELEASE, so I would expect it to work on 5.2-CURRENT as well.

When I compile dazuko 2.0.2 on FreeBSD all goes well, but I get in /var/log/messages:

kernel: WARNING: Device driver "dazuko" has wrong version and is disabled. Recompile KLD module.
kernel: dazuko: loaded, version=2.0.2

kldstat does show it as loaded.

When I trie the example program I get:
error: failed to register with Dazuko
(probably because the module is disabled :-( )

I use FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT build on Fri May 21 23:22:55 CEST 2004
