this project: http://savannah.nongnu.org/download/mldonkey/

Version 2-5-4 is hopelessly outdated, please report if this bug happens with current version 2-5-16 or 2-5-21.

I realized, when I checked the DLed files by size & CRC of a 4 file torrent-dl, that file 1-3 were bigger as the given filesize, and the CRC did not match either. After truncating to the given filesize, the CRC did also match again. After comparing the truncated data with the start of the following file, I found out, that it matched.
I think this is severe, cause it ALTERS DATA!!!
As soon, as my other two DLs complete, I'll report whether it happened again.
Also I'll update to the next version, and see if it happened again.
I won't include a 700 MB torrent DLed file & the 4 175MB files neither, if there is still interest, please leave me a message: sebi (at) ejro (dot) de.
