--windows-mode was removed in v0.13.0, and isn't in v0.13.4 either.

Hmm 0.13.x doesn't have a --windows-mode. The option was removed because now the file system's characteristics should be autodetected.

When --remove-older-than and --windows-mode are enabled, the program reports that it is unable to read the current timestamp information from the metadata directory even those the -l option and the backups and restores do work.
