Hm, Got finally on it, and now at least gnome2 panels are displayed and handled correctly, only the focus stuff needs to be overworked.

Well Xchat works fine.
Mini-commander-applet doesn't work, but it will hopefully be fixed soon.

System: Debian Sid (unstable), with Gnome 2.
When using the mini-commander-applet in the gnome panel with
Oroborus, it is impossible to enter data into the input field.

It seems that this is related to the input field type.
Same behaviour can be observed with the topic field of
xchat 1.8.9

When using Oroborus no data can be entered here either.
