This is not a forum for requesting help.
Lucent/Agere firmware 8.10 is known to work with the driver.
I see that the firmware is determined properly.
HostAP driver doesn't support Lucent/Agere firmware, which
casts doubt on the validity of the bug.
Failure to associate is unlikely a driver problem.
The interface should be up to associate.

Hi there!
orinoco_cs module is able to recognize my toshiba wireless card embedded in the satellite, but is not able to join an access point. Here's my "cardctl ident"

-------------------------------------------------------
Socket 0:
product info: "TOSHIBA", "Wireless LAN Card", "Version 01.01", ""
manfid: 0x0156, 0x0002
function: 6 (network)
-------------------------------------------------------

Here's my dmesg output related to the card

---------------------------------------------------------
orinoco 0.15rc1HEAD (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au>, Pavel Roskin <proski@gnu.org>, et al)
orinoco_cs 0.15rc1HEAD (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au>, Pavel Roskin <proski@gnu.org>, et al)

iwconfig reports the card working, but the access point remains in "Access Point: 44:44:44:44:44:44".

Essid is correct and with a Prism2 hostap driver is working.
How can I help to debug the problem ?
Thank you
