I tried using 0.6.0 to back up, and 0.13.7 restored it without errors. Closing because bug was probably due to some irregularity in your repository, maybe caused by a bug in 0.6.0.

This is very hard for me to fix until I can easily replicate. Ideally you would upload tarball of example that 0.13.x punts on. Putting on hold until then.

I upgraded the rdiff-backup 0.6 to 0.13 and try to restore the data. So the restore failed.

I downgraded the rdiff-backup and restore the data and it's ok
