Tue 15 Oct 2019 03:26:09 PM UTC, original submission:

Please add a command a command line option to suppress the
"--Man-- next: xxx(xx) [ view (return) | skip (Ctrl-D) | quit (Ctrl-C) ]" prompt.

In many cases, the prompt is redundant and just makes browsing through several pages slower:

"view" should be default without hitting a key

"skip" can be done faster than "Ctrl-D" by hitting "q" in the pager

"quit" also works in the pager by hitting "Ctrl-C"
if the pager was started in "don't catch Ctrl-C" mode
(in case of "less": "less -K")

So there is no need for a separate prompt in man.
