happens if you burn to fast, did you burned the iso <12x ?

Burned gnoppix 0.7 beta last night, but unfortunately it takes about 20 minutes to boot on my machine before it crashes.  The problem?  No LVM I suspect, I was getting tonnes of read errors and it thought my RAID partition was corrupted (my LVM is on RAID 1).
Given how common LVM is these days, it might not be a bad choice to include if there is space.  There was also no indication that something was going wrong until the crash (it was just slow).
