As you have probably already noticed, we are moving from the original grey, one could say sad, website look to a new, warmer, savannah-looking style.

Also, we work on HTML w3c's standards compliance and on getting a better CSS2 support, instead of style's definitions hardcoded. So, it is possible that you endure problems on this issue, especially Netscape 4.x users (since Netscape 4.x's CSS2 support is near from nihility).

In this case, don't hesitate to write a word or two, explaining your problem, mentioning concerned pages and used web-browser, on the support forum http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?group_id=11 or to savannah-hackers@gnu.org

Any chance of an update to the "Savannah Future"
news post of October 5th?

Last I read a few employees from Xerox were donating
some bug-tracking-system code to savannah, is
that happening?

Hows work going on the decentralised hosting network?

any technical updates would be nice.

Actually, Laurent from Xerox have now add the bug tracking system into savannah, he will post a news about this.

According to what I know :
- centralized : hu, I missed the point
- code impossible to maintain/upgrade : we try to do something about it ! Since I was fine with the SF theme system, I've rewrited a simpler one (really simpler but easier to maintain.. BTW, I've tested SF one yesterday, there's only 2 themes (accessible for my account) on SF.net and we can imitate them with the savannah system)
- no internationalization : this will not be done soon I guess ..
- no packaging : we are discussing about a file release system

BTW, to get answer on this kind of point, you'd better write to savannah-hackers@gnu.org : we need to add somewhere an information about the number of replies posted...
