Improve program stability - mutices reloaded

Item posted by Joël Krähemann <jkraehemann> on Fri 23 Jun 2017 11:56:07 AM UTC.

Advanced Gtk+ Sequencer got recently new features like MIDI import/export or built-in envelope. However these features need some improvements like solving thread-safety.

The 0.8.x branch won't be as long active as the 0.7.x branch. For the current branch I wish some program improvements. Like additional tests and revising code.

Caution - no thread-safe features

MIDI import/export and built-in envelope aren't thread-safe. This is going to be fixed during next release 0.8.6. There are going to be some code reorganization of the import/export routines. In order to provide the functionality within libags-audio rather then coupled the GUI.

Additional editing tools

The editor gets some additional tools. Especially for various resizing strategies. This is considered to be very important. As there might be some rounding issues during MIDI import.
