This is a maintainance release of the `stable' release series,
we made it just before forking the 0.1 release series from
trunc branch.
More info in stribog-announcements mailing list archives.
This is another alpha release.
The tarball together with PGP signagure is available at
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/stribog/releases/
Many a step towards usability has been made since the previous release:
autoconfiscating whole project,
adding more detailed texinfo documentation,
eliminating stupid bugs,
moving host command line tools behaviour to GNU standards,
migrating to Git to enumerate the most eminent ones.
Today the sources CVS tree was imported to GIT. Since now the project will use GIT because it is more flexible and convenient than CVS. the CVS sources will not be updated any more.
One more alpha release. the GERBER files were generated with the new version of PCB, which don't use bold commands.
Savannah releases are now managed through sftp, which is a gorgeousĀ improvement (thanks a million to the supporters). I deleted the files of previous release which I carelessly duplicated.
Some time ago I released several files (03x6-stribog, 05x6-stribog, 09x6-stribog). they are identical, I just didn't wait enough to seeĀ them among the releases.
The project is still in alpha stage.
The project has grown to it's pre-alpha release. the board design is complete, low-level sensors control functions do work.
20iii6-stribog.pre-release.tar.bz2 at http://download.savannah.nongnu.org/releases/stribog/ includes output files for the board reproduction (GERBER and EXCELLON files, bill of materials, and so on). schematic diagrams and elements placement was transformed to PDF, so gEDA is not needed to read them.
To compile the LPC2138 programs it is enough to install gcc for ARM. host-side utilities are compiled with (non-cross)gcc.
