In the kanban method, each list is called "bucket" and has a maximum
number of elements. In this kanban, the lists are:

1. Tasks performed
called the "Completed" list;
2. Tasks to be performed
called the "Todo" list;
3. Potential tasks
called the "Options" list.

Personal Kanban imposes the execution of a maximum of 3 tasks at the same time, inserting them in the "Todo" list. As the "Todo" list is emptied, the tasks pass through the "Completed" list and can no longer be moved: what is done is done, and you have to go ahead with the other tasks or do the task again, leaving a trace of the failure for the future.
The "Options" list contains all the tasks that could be carried out
but which have not yet been taken on board: in order for the method to
work, the tasks must be performed only after having entered them in the "Todo" list.

I've been using this software for 2 years successfully and has increased my productivity in the long term: it is superior to a simple notebook and can be punitive enough to prevent a project from being abandoned forever, motivating the user.
