Wikiup - Summary
This group is not part of the GNU Project.
Wikiup is another wiki system, implemented in Python. It is aimed at being useful for several tasks and various users needs. The control of versions is left to CVS, so users can edit files on-line via web, or off-line with a text editor, committing their changes via CVS.
Pages are organized hierarchically in subdirectories and static
HTML versions are generated using user's templates. Thus, wikiup can be used to maintain regular websites; users will normally access the static HTML pages, while registered users can edit the source code
via CVS or through a web form.
Templates are used to generate both dynamic and static HTML pages.
The generation of other formats (LaTeX, DocBook, texinfo), using
templates, will be implemented in a future release.
