Alternatively allow people to change the colours of the blocks in the application so that they can choose a colour scheme that can be  differentiated by them.

Not all people are completely colourblind (in fact i am one of them, red/green colourblind), i can tell the yellow blocks apart easily, but the purple/blue ones and orange/green ones are really hard to differentiate.

At some time in the past somebody volunteered to help with this.

The problem, from a technical standpoint, is that currently there aren't individual blocks. There is one block and different textures are applied that are just flat colorations. There would need to be significant changes to that part of the rendering system to enable this.

I understand that this is important, but, the same people that originally brought this up never submitted any textures to use. If somebody were to put together the art assets, we might be able to set them up to render.

This game does not offer good support for the colour blind.

A game which does this will is frozen-bubble.

Please offer some kind of shape-based block identification.
Thanks!
