Dazuko doesn't require a specific module. It simply requires that security modules are supported by your kernel. Are you sure that the kernel that is running supports security modules?

I use a self compiled Kernel 2.6.23 with Debian Etch.
Configuring dazuko I get the following error:

discovered host system... Linux (2.6.23)
checking if security module support is enabled... no
error: security module support must be enabled in your kernel
noritz@debian:~/downloads/dazuko-2.3.4$

The FAQ say, that I have to enable "the security modules" in my kernel. Yes, but exact what do you meen?
I guess I have enabled this modules. Here a part of my config:
 Security options
#
CONFIG_KEYS=y
CONFIG_KEYS_DEBUG_PROC_KEYS=y
CONFIG_SECURITY=y
CONFIG_SECURITY_NETWORK=y
CONFIG_SECURITY_NETWORK_XFRM=y
CONFIG_SECURITY_CAPABILITIES=m
CONFIG_SECURITY_ROOTPLUG=m
CONFIG_CRYPTO=y
CONFIG_CRYPTO_ALGAPI=y
CONFIG_CRYPTO_BLKCIPHER=m
CONFIG_CRYPTO_HASH=y
CONFIG_CRYPTO_MANAGER=y
CONFIG_CRYPTO_HMAC=y
# CONFIG_CRYPTO_XCBC is not set
CONFIG_CRYPTO_NULL=m
CONFIG_CRYPTO_MD4=m
CONFIG_CRYPTO_MD5=y
CONFIG_CRYPTO_SHA1=m
CONFIG_CRYPTO_SHA256=m
CONFIG_CRYPTO_SHA512=m
# CONFIG_CRYPTO_WP512 is not set

Which security module is dazuko missing?

Thanks

Norbert
