For sure the machine translation is a bit hit-and-miss, but I assure you it's better than nothing when you can't otherwise read the comments at all. Hopefully this makes the point that the code as it stands is only really accessible to those fluent in German, English and Perl. I'm not qualified to improve the translations, so I can only hope you (or someone else) will translate them properly one day. P.S. Obviously I think storebackup is pretty cool, otherwise I wouldn't go to this much trouble just to track down a bug in it.
Hi, thanks for your work - BUT sorry, some of the translations are good, some are possible to understand. But for some of them I'm not able to understand their meaning at all. Therefore, these are extremely counterproductive for me. I think I have to translate them individually - but time for my "hobby" storeBackup is more than limited at the moment. Best Regards,
This is not really a support request but I will post it here as I didn't see a better forum. The attached patch provides English translations for the German comments in storeBackup.pl v3.4.2. Translations are courtesy of Google Translate. Be warned, some of them are probably not correct. I hope this is of some use to other non-speakers of German who are attempting to make sense of this code.
