Sanjiv,

Try to translate the model first so that it is near to the x-y plane (z=0). You can e.g. use the Surface->Transform menu to do that.

Hi All,

I am a new user of pyformex and I am trying to use the bifmesh plugin to make a hexahedral mesh of a side-to-end fistula (can be generalised as a bifurcation in terms of geometry). I am unable to get the centerlines because I run into the following error - IndexError - index 0 is out of bounds for axis 0 with size 0.

I think it is because my selections of the centerPoint and helperLines are not on the model itself. But no matter what view I use I am unable to select the centerpoints on the model itself because it selects a point approximately 98 units (mm in my case) behind the model for the centerPoint and a certain number of units infront of the model for the helperLines. I have attached pictures to illustrate my problem.

Does anyone know of a remedy to this problem? possibly exporting centerline data from vmtk?

Regards,

Sanjiv Gunasekera

I got the centerlines from the vmtk function (under surface tab). I need to sync the vmtk centerline to the bifmesh. Any tips would help. Sanjiv)
