W3C, he say, 'Congratulations! This is a valid Atom 1.0 feed.'
And I see both ampersands are now '&amp;'.
Thanks.

I see; I've installed a next try, could you check it?

It's complaining it's not well-formed XML.  In particular, line 352 has an ampersand as part of a URL and it pinpoints the 1 of 1.215 as an 'invalid token'.  This is inside a "<content type='xhtml'" that starts on line 342.  I suspect the ampersands there need to be escaped.

<p>For more detailed information you can look at <a href="http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/nmh/ChangeLog?root=nmh&r1=1.215&r2=1.254.2.13">the ChangeLog since 1.2</a>.

I meant, I can install the W3C validator.  Trisquel 8 provides that package, but it seems to have unresolvable dependencies.

Using that link would be a SaaSS, and I can't easily install it locally.

Even worse, I have no idea what readily available program I could use to read that atom feed.

Thanks ineiev, the &nbsp; is now U+00A0 so that error's fixed.

However the W3C validator now gets further and complains about ampersands appearing in a URL.  Link given when opening support request.

https://savannah.no
ngnu.org/news/atom.php?group=nmh has been working fine for a long time.  Due to its changing content, it now causes an error in my RSS reader, and also fails the W3C's validator: https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsavannah.nongnu.org%2Fnews%2Fatom.php%3Fgroup%3Dnmh
