To Whom it may concern,

Gotta say, GMediaRender works like a dream! Ran it, looked in Audirvana on my PC, and the Dietpi was there! And the SQ is great. One thing, though, I wish it could do, or, could you point me toward a solution? Namely my USB DAC has an on/off trigger, thus, when music is flowing, the DAC should turn on. Unfortunately the juice keeps flowing through the USB even when music has quit streming so the DAC never turns off automatically (NB I rarely turn off the Raspberry Pi). I believe on a Raspberry Pi 4 one can only turn on/off the power to all four USB's; but, this is fine for me as I'd like to use the other ports as triggers to other audio equipment.

So, I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this: My wish, in a perfect world, is when I open Audirvana on my PC, it connects with the Raspberry Pi (in my case via wifi) and powers up all the USB's which in turn triggers all the other devices to life; then, when I quit Audirvana and it's use of the Raspberry Pi has completed, the power to all the USB's would turn off and all the triggered devices turn off.

Thank you in advance for any direction you can provide in this regard.

Sincerely,

Craig
