I should also mention that using ssh to login at download.savannah.gnu.org works as expected according to documentation.
This is what I get

promitheas@Mini-Workstation:~/Octave/octave$ ssh pr0m1th3as@download.savannah.gnu.org

Also pinging at hg server is successful

I have registered my public ed25519 key with savannah, and I have confirmed that it is set up correctly according to savannah docs.

However, trying to clone or pull from a repository (octave in particular) always stalls and after some time it returns Network is unreachable.

promitheas@Mini-Workstation:~/Octave$ hg clone ssh://pr0m1th3as@hg.sv.gnu.org/octave
remote: ssh: connect to host hg.sv.gnu.org port 22: Network is unreachable
abort: no suitable response from remote hg

Attempting to login also fails (although when I set it up 2 days ago it was establishing a connection

promitheas@Mini-Workstation:~/Octave$ ssh -v pr0m1th3as@hg.sv.gnu.org

ssh: connect to host hg.sv.gnu.org port 22: Network is unreachable

Why is this happening? Am I banned somehow or blacklisted for some reason? BTW, using git ssh to GitHub works normal, so it's not a firewall issue on my end.

I am trying to access octave repository and using ssh is the only solution right now because the https route is non-responsive due to AI-web scrappers. Please let me know how I can fix/configure things properly so I can hg into octave repo.

Thanks

Andreas Bertsatos <pr0m1th3as>
