Thank you very much Mr Heinz-Josef Claes for taking time to respond this issue.

I did what you said and worked fine.
Then I run the original storeBackup from command line instead of using and edited configuration file and run fine.
So I presume that there was something wrong with the generated and later edited configuration file.

Thak you and all the best

That sounds very strange.

Can you do the following:

Create a small sourceDir with some files in it.

create a backup of those files running storeBackup on suse (or centos) + run storeBackupCheckBackup on the backup + pack the backup into file b1.tar

create a backup of those files running storeBackup on ClearOS + run storeBackupCheckBackup on the backup + pack the backup into file b2.tar

transfer b1.tar to ClearOS and b2.tar to suse
try to restore with b1.tar and b2.tar on ClearOS and on suse.

What's happening?
(I don't know if this leads to anything helpful, but I've no other idea at the moment.)

Which perl versions are installed on the different linux distributions?

Regards, Heinz-Josef

Version 3.5

When running storeBackupRecover it fails with ERROR "did not find info file <.md5CheckSums>.
After checked followings files were in the folder backup md5CheckSums.bz2 and md5CheckSums.info

StoreBackup is installed on a ClearOS linux version, I have installed also in centos and suse and storeBackupRecover runs fine.

I had already intalled storeBackup two times to correct the error with no success.
The backup runs fine.
I would appreciate any help, thank you very much.
